Ingrown hair under arm pt. 2???

hi

i have an ingrown hair deeeeeep under my arm. cant really see it and tweezers dont work. would nair SOMEHOW raise it out? i think its been there for idk how long........help

Time to get it checked out by your doctor. It may not be an ingrown hair. You could be feeling a swollen lymph gland or it could be an infection deep in the skin.

Nair won't work!!!! have a friend help you (or your parent, someone you trust!) and have them try to "pop" the ingrown follicle. You might also try to place a warm wash clothe under your arm. This can also help with the uncomfortableness(?). Good Luck!

like we always say "Go to the doctor". In the meantime you can apply a warm compress to it. If it comes to a head, do not pop it. Let it pop on its own. when it does clean the area very good. You do not want to get a staph infection (A boil). If that does not work try using ichthammol cream (it is called draw out salve) It should bring it to a head. If there is a hair in the bump, this salve will bring it up. I do need to warm you though it smells horrible. just clean the area and put a little on it and cover the area. Hopefully overnight. In the morning clean all of the salve off. You should be good after that. Good Luck.

P.S you can get the salve from the pharmacy, it may even be on the shelves.
