Does anyone have ingrown hair and know anything that can help get rid of it????

If you have ingrown hair from shaving, here are a few tips:

1) You MUST be in the shower/wet for at least 3 mins

2) Gently exfoliate (either with a gentle scrub or the scrubbing cream) which will help remove the dead skin cells and decrease the chances of getting ingrowns (exfoliate in a circular motion)

3) Shave slowly and carefully (so your skin will not become irritated)

4) Apply lotion or a moisturizer right after

This really works and will help reduce ingrown hair.

I take it that the ingrown hair that you are refering to are in your shaved region, a rub with a rough loofa of something to that extent should help ( exfoliating rubs help as well)

Everyone has an ingrown hair at some stage in their life...You can not get rid of them... Where did you get educated.

get it seen to, my pal had one and left it for ages(on the lower back) it started to go into a lump then got sore, ended up in hospis for surgery the hair kept growing then infection set in, the surgeon had to cut out a massive piece of flesh. month of work.

Exfoliate the area well. I've also hear squeezing it like a pimple works, or trying to pull it out with a sterilized needle.
