Whitehead pimple or ingrown hair on leg?

A few days ago, a tiny part of my left leg started to itch. The next day, a little light red bump appeared that hurt a bit every time I touch it. Now there's a huge whitehead-looking pimple thing. It's yellowish and I don't know if there's pus in there, but I don't want to pop it. It doesn't hurt anymore.

Can anyone tell me what it is? A pimple? An ingrown hair? A bitemark? Umm something WORSE?!

AHHH I'm freaking out because I don't know what it is. :[

2. if you shave, there's a 80% chance it's just an ingrown hair

go ahead and either pop it (if there's an ingrown hair, sometimes you can see it and pull it out after popping it) or just wait it out, you'll be fine, nothing disasterous ever came from something that looked like a pimple

i had something like that on my toe a few weeks ago and they had to cut it off. its kinda hard to balance w/out a pinky toe.

Hmm.. it is probably a pimple...If you said it had a little red bump... My niece had a little bump on her leg and it turned out to be a pimple.. She popped it and washed it and put some medicine on it..

Hmm, I'm concered because it hurt when you touched it, and it seems like its getting worse. I'd give it a day or two, and if it doesn't get any better, you may want to consider getting it checked out. It wouldn't hurt, and its nice to be reassured that it will be ok. And if it does turn out to be a bite or something, its a good thing you got it checked out!

oh i got the same thing on my leg... wait a few days and then try to pop it. its the only way... i went to the docs and thats what they said. then, put antibacterial ointment on it and put a bandaid on it for it to heal.. it will leave a scar for a few days but goes away after. Its normal for it to look bluish purplish after you pop it. :o)

it could be a pimple or herpes...... who knows, go to a Doctor, but it sounds like a pimple to me
