First ingrown hair...?

I shave..you know 'down there'..and have never had an ingrown hair. But unfortunatly I got my first. It's not grown enough to pull out with tweezers, so do I let it grow first? Or squeeze it to get everything out. I'm due for my bikini wax and all that, this friday. Do I have to wait? Or can I go ahead and get it done? How can I prevent more? Or help it to go away faster? Thanks so much!...ohhh and yes I shave and wax, ladies prolly understand more than guys..its that awkward inbetween time...

Yes I did ask this someplace else, but it didnt get very good answers...and I need some help.

First ingrown hair...?

they usually go away in a little less than a week if u dont touch it too much. i get them on my knees sometimes. if you want to avoid them shave/wax downward. it way less painfull and u shouldnt have any more ingrown hairs

First ingrown hair...?

Wait for the bikini wax and let the hair grow, then tweezer the ingrown hair out. If there is a spot, gently squeeze and the hair should show, then pluck the hair out. You should then wait for the area to heal, before waxing.

First ingrown hair...?

I shave also, and just let it go, if you squeeze it too much, then it will get harder, and it takes longer to go away, you can go on with your wax appt. you cant really prevent them, just make sure you use shaving cream, but if they keep coming, use baby oil, then put on the shaving cream, then shave, and sometimes you have to make sure you have a new razor, i use two seperate razors, just to make sure, other than that

theres really not much else you can do. Or, you can try to get moisterizing shaving cream.

First ingrown hair...?

It's not a great idea to shave between waxes. That's probably why you have ingrowns. Instead of shaving, buy yourself a Braun silk epil. It's like 50 bucks and the same results as waxing. It pulls the hairs instead of cutting them. If you shave in between waxing sessions, waxing is futile, since the reason you should wax is so that your hair wouldn't grow as coarse and dark as shaving.

First ingrown hair...?

I get them all the time. When I get when I'm shaving down there, I wait till it is long enough to tweeze it. Then I tweeze the hair out and I squeeze out the puss. It may not be the best solution, but it makes it feel alot better.

The one thing you could try is a bikini ingrown hair cream like Barc Bump Down Cream or Bliss Ingrown Hair Eliminating Pads.

Another good thing to remember is when you shave down there remember to lather yourself in shaving cream, and I always stand in the shower and shave at the end of my shower so that my skin is very moist. And make sure the razor you have isn't dull or brand new, maybe in between.

Hope this helps!!

Good Luck!

First ingrown hair...?

Okay, I don't shave "down there", but I have had a lot of ingrown hairs on my face, chest and stomach. I wash it with alcohol and use a very fine needle to get the hair lifted enough so I can pull it with tweezers. The more often you pluck or wax the less often you will have the ingrown hairs, they seem to be worst with shaving.

First ingrown hair...?

I have never had this problem.....Try using veet (immac), it's blindin for the in-between times!?

First ingrown hair...?

1. i prob. wouldn't get a wax until this is gone lol, it might make it worse

2. once it grows some more, put a hot washcloth on the hair, make sure it stays warm. this should bring the hair up

3. when you see the hair pull the ingrown end up, but don't pull the whole thing out!! that could make it grow in more

4. consult your Dr. if it gets worse

First ingrown hair...?

salt and oil, its great rub it anywhere, use it on dry skin, then jump in the shower, its cheap, you make it at home, and best of all its natural for them sensitive skins- you rub gentle, its abit tingly but its agreat exfoliate, which is what people who wax or shave need to do, or skin can kartinise IE form ingrowing hairs

don't pluck you have more of a chance that it will grow back ingrowing again, because if skin damage,

hope this helps
