What's ingrown pubic hair?

I recently shaved my pubic hair for the first time. I plan on letting it grow back out, because it is uncomfortable. Haha. Anyways, will it grow back out okay? Like, nothing bad, and what about ingrown pubic hair? Helps!

Sometimes people get ingrown pubic hair. It is the same as any other ingrown hair. The skin forms over the follicle and blocks the hair from growing out. I would recommend exfoliating in the shower with a loofah or wash cloth. You can also use an azulene oil. Both of these methods will prevent ingrown hairs, particularly useful when waxing...

If its uncomfortable then buzz instead of shave. Ingrown pubes are just hair that don't break the skin, they kind of grow sideways. the best way to tell if you get one is it you find a bump that looks like a zit.

u seem to be unduly worried about your pubic hair a lot. it will grow back with more density %26amp; you can put a plait %26amp; decorate it with flowers. So dont worry. Hair never grows on soft skin so the ingrown which you you see now will come out with time %26amp; will be out only when you start your married life when that area puffs out. so Dont Worry Be Happy

It will grow back out, no problem with that, but as pubic hair is curly, sometimes it will curl under the skin before it grows out. All you need to do, is scratch the top and release the hair. While it is growing back in, it will itch like crazy. In the "good old days" women were routinely shaved at the hospital before giving birth, not fun. Been there done that Best wishes

it will grow back just the way it was before. Just to let you know, if you keep shaving it smooth it will be a lot easier from now on, and you won't get ingrown hairs.

Ingrown hairs are where the new hair that starts to grow back doesn't grow through the skin- it stays under the skin and makes the skin irritated. Bacteria can get in this irritation (and is sometimes the cause) and it can create a little bump that looks like a pimple.

It's probably going to itch like crazy when it grows back in because your body isn't used to it yet. You increase your chances of ingrown hairs if the skin down there (not inside, but outside) is dry, so try to keep a little vaseline.

Monitor your pubes, particularly the bikini line because that's where the ingrown hairs love to appear. If you see one, I'd say take a pair of tweezers to it or it'll make these gross bumps that never go away.

Yes it will grow back fine, coarser though. Kind of similar to the hair on your legs, but not as back. The more you do it, the rougher it will be when it grows back. Yes those little pimples hurt, and itch sometimes. I forgot what they were specifically called, but they will go away on their own.

your skin gets used to it after a while. you have to give it few tries not just once and give up. also, the upper pubes seem to be where most of the razor bumps appear so you may just want to keep a nice trimmed tringle there but continue to shave around your lips and butt. It helps to rub rubbing alchohol on the area after you shave, it breaks up the body oils that clog your newly open hair folicles and cause that
