Whatever you do, do not attempt to get rid of it yourself. It is not healthy. All sorts of infections can arouse from you trying to take care of it yourself. Call a nurse helpline [most doctors offices have them...at least where I have lived they do] and they should be able to tell you what to do. Most likely they will tell you to come in and have the doctor take a look at it. That is going to be the healthiest and most sterile way for you to get rid of your ingrown hair.

Anytime anyone has an ingrown hair they should consult with their physician, it can really cause a problem if not checked into. It can cause a staff infection, a boil, a cyst and various problems so get yourself to your doctor and get it taken care of.

that's what usually happens when you wax, you lose the hair from the root and then grow in a whole new hair in the follicle and the skin begins to close before the hair grows in.

i would advise you to shave instead.

if it really bothers you though, grab a pair of tweezers and dig them out!
