A really bad ingrown hair near my genital.?

Okay i shaved about 2 days ago and yesterday i noticed a bump near my vagina (right where the crease is between ur leg and vagina) Anyways...so it's a pretty big bump. Not just normal small ingrown hair. So i was trying to pop it but just blood came out. So then after a while of doing that a tiny bit of puss came out. So i went to bed and this morning it is a bit smaller but i can still feel a ball inside. I tried poping it but nothing happened. It can't be an STD or whatever. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and we have done everything but sex and we are both virgins.

can someone PLEASE help me? I don't want to go to the doctor.

Never really had that but heres wikipedia take on it

Treatment

1. Applying aftershave lotion to reduce irritation

2. Manually removing ingrown hairs with special tweezers

3. Shaving in a different direction

4. Allowing the hair to grow in order to cause the hair to come out straighter

5. Using special razors that leave the hair longer

6. Exfoliating with facial scrubs, sponges, towels, or creams containing acids

7. Treatment with Ibuprofen or other NSAIDs promotes resolution of stubborn cases

8. Prophylaxis with twice daily topical application of diluted Glycolic acid

If the area is infected, see a dermatologist.

maybe try tweazers to get it out, or something smaller than ur nail, like gently try and get it out with a pin...remember to sterilize it by lighting it first! i hope this helps!!!

  1. I have one of those right now! It hurts sooo bad. I thought I felt the ball inside burst when I was squeezing it yesterday, but when I squeezed harder, only blood came out. I got desperate enough to the point where I actually got a little insulin syringe and started piercing it to try to break it free! Needless to say, it didn't really work--just more blood came out--and it's still really sore. But I've had these before, and the best way I find to help it is to get some hot water (like, from a kettle), allow it to cool for *just* a little bit, and then take a clean washcloth, soak it in the water, ring it out, and then hold it to the ingrown hair. Keep repeating as it gets cold. Eventually, you'll feel it soften enough to pop completely. But I feel for you! They're really painful, and I hate them. Good luck!
